With the arrival of warm weather, we begin to rejoice and immediately get things purchased last year. Why?
Loss of muscle mass and physical activity
Many have a desire to regain the energy that was in childhood. After all, children are incredibly active, running and making noise, because they are much less likely than any adult to suffer from excess body weight.
However, is it worth going to the desk, as this problem gradually begins to affect them. The more time a person devotes to study, the less is his physical activity, since he spends most of his time in a sitting position. Gradually, going to work, the activity of the physical plan decreases even more. If, for example, an ordinary clerk still sometimes has to carry papers for signing, meet with his colleagues and do other things, then the boss does not need to get up from his chair: anyone who needs him can be called to his office.
Lack of motor activity leads to the fact that the calories that enter the body with food are not spent on energy production by muscle fibers, from which fat reserve is made.
The situation is further aggravated by the fact that after thirty years, muscle mass begins to lose (by three to five percent every ten years). This process is called age-related sarcopenia.
Stress conditions
Stress increases the body's processing of nutrients. Another feature of them is that stress forces us to consume much more food. This is pretty simple. The stress state for the human body is a real evil, and it tries to protect itself from it in all possible ways, in particular, good emotional experiences. And everyone knows that eating delicious food is a very pleasant experience. At an early age, as a rule, our body is much less exposed to all kinds of stress than in adulthood. The baby can get support from his parents at any time.
However, as one grows older, a person has more and more responsibilities and various kinds of responsibilities. Accordingly, stress increases, which provokes the appearance of a mass of disorders, including an increase in body weight. These include impaired cognitive abilities and memory functions, a weakened immune system, increased blood pressure, etc.
Hormonal imbalance
Aging is inevitably accompanied by a decrease in the production of a large number of hormones. The results of numerous studies make it possible to conclude that this occurs at about the age of thirty. Many changes in the human body with age are caused by a lack of the so-called growth hormone. Such changes include a decrease in muscle mass, loss of energy, fat deposits on the abdomen, mood decline and sleep disturbances.
Is there any way to slow down these negative processes that cause weight gain? It all depends solely on the efforts made.
To maintain a normal body weight, it is very important to follow a nutritious and proper diet. Other significant points are complete rest and sufficient physical activity.
To cope with extra pounds from year to year is becoming more difficult. However, using the right means and perseverance, it is quite possible to overcome excess weight.
